The clubs pistol and rifle range is available from sunrise to sunset unless otherwise noted. The skeet and trap range is open on Sundays and Wednesday from 9:00 a. m to 3:00 p.m.; however it will remain open as long as someone wants to shoot. On Wednesdays we shoot in the evenings and would appreciate a call if you intend to come out, we are subject to closing for lack of interest.
6. Do I have to be an NRA member to join?
We do not require membership with the NRA and it will not affect the decision of the Board regarding your application. It is always nice to see individuals obtain and maintain membership in the NRA as it offers many benefits.
7. As a member, can I bring a guest?
Yes you may and we encourage it as it opens the doors to possible new members. Please keep in mind as a member; you are responsible for your guest’s actions.
8. Do I have to be a club member to use the rifle/pistol range?
Yes. The rifle/pistol ranges are not open to the public except on club directed events.
9. Do you offer gun rental?
No we do not.
10. Can I shoot if I’m not a member?
The only things available to non-members are our non-registered shoots on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s. As a non-member it will cost more money to participate in these shoots.
11. Do you have an archery range?
Currently, we do not have a dedicated archery range. Members are allowed to set up targets NW or SW of the parking lot.
12. Can I train my hunting dogs on Club property?
Yes you may. We do ask that you refrain from water retrieving if someone is fishing. For registered shoots, we also ask that all pets be on a leash.
13. Can I attend Board Meetings?
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend Board Meetings. The annual voters meeting is held on the second Monday of February and starts at 7 p.m. Regular monthly meetings are scheduled by the club President and will be posted in Announcements and Events.
14. Will I be expected to “do” anything?
As our club is relatively small, we don’t turn away any extra help as many hands make for light work. It’s always nice if you can chip in for extra duties but you don’t have to worry about being drafted. Many times, just picking up after yourself is sufficient enough. The membership dues are low because most of the maintenance and improvements are done by club members.
15. Do you offer any training classes?
Please come out to our open practice shoots and many of our members would be happy to answer questions and get you pointed in the right direction. Basic firearms safety and Concealed Carry classes are available when there are enough participants to conduct a class and have an entry fee.
